I can confirm this happens on Ubuntu Mate 14.04.2 32 bit with Compiz
enabled. I am using an ASUS board and intel i3 quad core and an AMD
Radeon R7 200 GPU. I am using Ambiant Mate theme with Faenza Dark icon
set. But, I can also confirm this happens irrespective of theme used.

I am going to close this because two people both say it's fixed with
ekiga 2.0.9 which is included in gutsy. Unfortunately Ubuntu does not
bump packages except with major problems. So your best bet to fix this

The reason you need to install gtk+ (it's not the gimp you need to
install) is because they don't want to include gtk+ if you already have
it. If 5 applications that used gtk+ done that (and you installed them

I start it using a gnome panel shortcut. Anything that uses the

The run dialog just runs gaim (and other apps) without the startup
