The problem is that parsing of the lid action setting does not work as
intended. It expects a ValueError when invoking value.toInt() which
instead returns 0 resulting a selection of "Nothing" on each restart of

I have configured kde System Settings > Power Management to suspend to
ram when the lid is closed. That works as expected when the screen is
not locked.
Once I lock the screen closing the lid has no effect. I would expect a
