[Bug 476155] Re: indicator-applet leaves user signed into IM even after IM client exits

2009-11-13 Thread Stanley A
Empathy does have "send and receive messages" under its name after I close it. However, although I am more than willing to assist you in troubleshooting this, I have to point out that this bug report is not about Empathy at all. The problem is with Pidgin and how indicator- applet-session keeps IM

I spoke somewhat too soon. This has nothing to do with indicator- session, but closing Empathy apparently doesn't really close it. It comes up if someone starts a conversation with me. -- indicator-applet leaves user signed into IM even after IM client exits https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/476155

What's the status on this bug? I see that a fix has been committed, but as for right now it's still not working and it's a pretty annoying bug. I can understand that the developers probably have bigger concerns right now, but I'm just wondering. -- pidgin doesn't notify at start of conversation (

I have the same problem as the bug report, but the above package doesn't seem to fix it. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling a few times now with no luck. It still doesn't notify on new conversations, only messages within the conversations. -- pidgin doesn't notify at start of conversation (libn
