This seems to be fixed in firefox 7.0.1 (tested on 10.10/maverick with 7.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.10.1~mfs1), but can be confirmed for eog 2.32.0-0ubuntu1. The same symptoms can be observed when this and 2 other gifs are opened with google chrome 16.0.904.0, see http://code.google.com/p/ch

This seems to exist still in the intrepid release version. Nm-vpnc connects correctly, but the routing tables aren't changed so the vpn-tunnel is used as default-route. Via vpnc(-connect) this works fine. I experienced this on 2 new installations of ubuntu 8.10 final. With nm-vpnc 0.6.4svn2422-0u
