I've got this server working now - not sure if the problem is an Intel
one or a Ubuntu one. The above behaviour occurs using the latest Bios
version for this board (DG35EC), which is version 0117 dated 7/31/2009.
Installation works perfectly if the Bios is downgraded to 0116, dated
6/25/2009.

I should mention this is the 8.04 server version, this hasn't been
tested on Desktop.

We're seeing an issue installing 8.04 64 Bit onto a machine with an
Intel DG35EC motherboard and a Q9550 Quad Core processor.
The installer starts up incredibly slowly, and then hangs. With the
