Running sudo do-release-upgrade -d doesn't work, results in:
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software pac
nah, if it needs an extended GUI then its still a bug .. needs to work
like a built in connection of the dialog needs to be adjusted.. not too
sure why it worked OOTB in 10.10 but if it worked in a previous version
its a regression that can be remedied? :)

in 10.10 my modem used to connect during start up, ever since 11.04 it
only connects when i select it in the connection menu .. only reporting
now cause its starting to annoy me :P

i can reproduce something similar on quantal by right click on a
launcher item during workspace .. it doesnt open the quicklist, but when
you select a workspace it opens it as soon as the workspace is in focus
.. thats fine i guess .. who would want to right click an item during
workspace right? bu
my bad .. yeah, i figured it out a few weeks back .. yeah, disabled it
on Ubuntu Tweak .. thanks a ton ;) sorry for not posting the solution

i've been updating my system since day1 of precise's development and the
new settings haven't shown .. i've received all other updates to the
system, like the new settings in Appearance and HUD etc etc, but the new
categories haven't been added to the gnome-control-center

.. But seriously it was one of the best features in oneiric and natty.
Please make a grand return in 12.04.1 or 12.10 when bugs can be clearly
sorted ..

Marius Gedminas (mgedmin) mentioned the function
defaults_get_top_corner() on 2011-10-30 ... i managed to find a script
that picks up the different monitors on a twinview setup .. would it not
be possible to implement these .. i don't have time to but hopefully
this script will help someone else..

or compiz.

i have a dual screen monitor setup with twinview and NVIDIA proprietory
drivers (v270). I can't find the stack but unity crashes during startup.
