Ok, I removed all of Ubuntu's OpenOffice.org packages, and installed
straight from the OpenOffice.org web site, and my problem is gone.

PS Joshua, that re-installation procedure has a typo, should be sudo rm
-fr ~/.local/share/ubuntuone you have ~/.share/local/ubuntuone and the
sudo apt-get install ubuntuone* didn't work for me either, says there
are conflicts, so I installed it through the proposed updates instead.

This is still a very relevant problem. I'm working on Ubuntu Jaunty,
and cannot get NFS to connect through an iptables firewall because the
ports keep changing. The changing ports are: nlockmgr and mountd, I
don't know if status has to do with this or not, but this is a problem.

commands in the terminal and got the first results. I then left the
terminal window open and hibernated the computer and then ran those two
commands once again. Below is the results of this test.

Strange new development. I was playing around with hibernate and sleep, and
after hibernating the computer then starting it back up, I once noticed it gave
me a notice that the battery was fully charged! So I pulled the plug, and now

Well I gave Jan's hack a try and it didn't work for me, then I went back
to Raymonds hack and it worked. Seems to me like this is mostly just a
dependency problem, the kio-umountwrapper should depend on dophin and
libkonq4 that would keep this from happening. At least that is my
