I can confirm this also occurs for me with a fresh and fully updated
Lubuntu 13.10, but just for hibernate. Manually executing pm-hibernate
from a terminal works fine - executing it from the logout menu blanks
the screen briefly, returns to the lock screen and, upon logging back
in, displays the 'o
This is affecting me too running XBMCbuntu, which I believe is 11.10
under the hood. No problem with suspend/resume when running from a hard
drive, but now I've switched to using an SD card instead I get the same
dmesg entries and ext4 errors followed by a read-only filesystem on

Thanks tom, that did it for me! The second reboot was required and I did
have wl in my /etc/modules file, for the record. I could have sworn I
had tried that before, but obviously not in the right sequence. :shrug:

MacBook rev3, rev4: Wireless works in 8.10 but not in Jaunty

On my install, that changes the restricted drivers message to "This
driver is activated and currently in use" however network manager still
doesn't present any wireless options. lsmod shows the driver as loaded
also, whereas iwconfig shows no wireless extensions.
