Step to reproduce the bug:
1) I go to my bookmark, and the share is mounted.
2) After my work, i dismount the share ( clicking on up-arrow, aside my share)

Same for me. Randomly , most on first boot, avatar does not appear. If i
disconnect from my session and return to gdm, i can see my avatar
correctly
