Not sure - but I think I have the same problem here.
The Keepass DB was created under Ubuntu 8.04 - and now i'm unable to open it
under Ubuntu 8.10:
$ keepassx
Found Metastream: KPX_CUSTOM_ICONS_2
Removed old CuIcMeSt v2
Segmentation fault
Let me know if I should provide more details.

It's not even asking for the http credentials.
I tried several repos, the segfault is reproducible.

I am currently stuck with exactly the same problem, but using Firefox 3
/ Ubuntu Hardy.
Uploading the File via Konqueror sends the mimetype "application/pdf".

I'm not sure if this is really a bug. But if it is, it can be fixed by
switching the Mouse driver to evdev.
This should be as simple as replacing your current mouse section in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf with:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"

Yep. The issue is still there. It was a fresh installation of Hardy Beta. I'm
already thinking about
reinstalling the whole box, when Hardy is out, cause the same thing doesn't
happen on my Notebook (also fresh installation of hardy beta).
Steps to reproduce:

- Icon appears

And I think the problem was with feisty (2006?) - so maybe this can be closed.

I got the same issues on a Thinkpad R61 with the GM965/GL960 and a desktop
computer with the same graphics controller. Both upgraded to 8.04 beta - latest
updates installed.
The system locks up at least once a day - on laptop and desktop computer.
Logging in via ssh / killing compiz.real is the
Mounting that drive with gnome-mount works alright! Also unmounting is
no problem then.
$ gnome-mount -d /dev/sdd1
but after that... the same problem.
