I can confirm this is a problem on my system too. I have booted to the
16.04 LTS release ISO on a USB stick, and I get three separate Plasma
crash screens, all invalid instruction exceptions.

the advanced config editor in Thunderbird, so I could tell which one was
being launched (I added /1 and /2 onto the ends of the URLs) and
magically the behaviour stopped.
