am very much affected by this problem.
My current workaround is to kill apt processes in CLOSE_WAIT state via
cron. But this is not "perfect".
Doesn't extra patching (Adam's patch) of complied code require constant
repackaging
According to the Debian Maintainer the dbparser module is not generated
in the new release[1]. However upstream still has it[2].

Hi,
the socat version in Focal (1.7.3.3) breaks certain applications (i.e.
qemu serial console), when using raw mode or disabling echo (required
for serial consoles). Example: start socket in listening mode: "qemu-
system-x86_64 -serial unix:/tmp/socket,server", connect with
probably just an packaging issue? pyvenv is officially removed in
python-3.8[1], so the symlink pyvenv should no longer be created?

Hi,
according to http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/g/ganeti the
autopkgtests are failing for the upcoming bionic/18.04 release. The
reason can be found in the logs:
error type: insufficient_resources, error details:
Not enough memory on node node1 for creating instance
there are several workarounds:
1) use debian (this is where bugs get fixed)
2) make some noise here, so that launchpad (canonical) can hear you
3) create the config by hand: net-snmp-create-v3-user is just a simple shell
script, that was forgotten to be packaged: the content translates to:
