It's clearly a IPv6 issue. Temp solution is to disable IPv6 until they
can fix NetworkManager. Most of us don't need it anyway.
Add the following /etc/sysctl.conf:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.l
I can confirm that killing gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor fixed the problem
in Ubuntu 16 with all my Android devices.

Looks like this is bugging me on new Kali 2 (Debian) 32bit system.
System freezes every time for about 15 secs after apt-get install (or upgrade)
is done.

`G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed
45Gb error log in just a few hour using Remmina and Nautilus.
Had to delete .xsession-errors manually from the home folder.

It's possible that this could be caused by faulty hardware, but I doubt
it. This seems to come up every other Ubuntu/Debian upgrade reinstall I
do. I noticed this with Mint8 fresh install. After upgrade it went away.
Now after trying Ubuntu 10.04 it's back. On my part it's definitely
software issue
Same problem in Mint8 SSH copy.
