Any key works, even shift and the like, sometimes only once (if halt was
waiting for a couple of seconds)
But what is the difference between halt and restart?, because i think that they
must differ only on the last step
Maybe laptops now require something extra to complete a shutdown, is a
forgot to specify that happens with kubuntu 9.04 on an acer aspire 5520
with kernel 2.6.28-12

I can add something that haven't seen anywhere else, if I press a key
twice a couple of seconds after "halt:unable to iterate IDE devices: No
such files or directory" got the "system halted" message and the
shutdown completes
