It'd be nice to update LaTeXila to the 3.14.4 version in Ubuntu 15.04.
It contains bug fixes (a crash, among other things), translation updates
and an information dialog window about the LaTeXila fundraiser campaign.
The dialog window is something new, but the code is trivial

Yes, it's correct. There are not a lot of changes in latexila 2.8, but
one of the bigger changes is for the completion, and it would not be
possible with gsv 3.6, since most of the improvements are in gsv 3.8.

There are a lot of patches there that are not applied upstream!
We can read this:
Quote filenames in rules/latex/__init__.py to stop crashes on files with
spaces in the filename.
So this bug is fixed in the Ubuntu package, but not upstream.
