I forgot to say that i've also moved /home/user to another directory before
trying to add the new user with users-admin.

I can't give any more details about what happened, because i no longer
have acess to the computer in which it happened.

I've installed the Tango theme for OpenOffice, and now it displays
correctly the toolbar buttons. But i think OpenOffice should default
to a theme when it doesn't have the same icon theme as the system is
using.
