after resuming from suspend, mouse cursor disappears. mouse still works,
as evident from seeing buttons highlighted when moving mouse, but cannot
see pointer otherwise. switching workspaces (ctrl+alt+right arrow)
corrects the mouse problem when stand

I think this bug related to dmraid. Hard drives never been powered on,
BIOS never been configured to support RAID. I see that with my eyes at
least on 4 completely new parts.

I got passed this by editing the HOSTS file and adding my servers.
Also verify your resolv.conf points to the correct DNS. The default may not be
correct for your system.

settings...well, at 640x480, all that happens when you click on the
nvidia-settings dialog box is that it jumps around on the screen. You
