Patch: adds back a newline for HTML replies (version 2)
Let's find out, this should be simple enough for a branch landing.
Patch seems to apply to comm-esr31 by visual inspection.

If I recall correctly, that's a case which the condstore feature is
supposed to cover. However, since the MailNews implementation is broken
(see bug 885220 and bug 912216) I wouldn't be surprised if it's an issue
prompted by that. I don't see this for non-Gmail servers which are not
using condstore

In that case I'd suggest to make this bug depend on bug 667340 rather
than making it a duplicate, or to retarget that other bug by changing
its summary to reflect what it's about. I agree with Aleksej that a
straight duping isn't applicable.

Err, no please - that bug is for SeaMonkey to decide whether or not to
follow this step, it's application specific and hence not intended for
Gecko discussions.

Well, the main thing is that bug 588909 conveniently caused bug 728610,
otherwise it's questionable if this would have been implemented so

That's the previous limit of the *memory* cache, which caused issues in

The memory cache should be large enough now after bug 629247 removed the 4MB
limit, but it's still a problem with caching of IMAP parts not working
properly. I've seen 0-size attachments showing up on the 5.0 branch resembling

Not exactly the specific issue described here, but more like bug 629738
now where the cache apparently isn't keeping track of when the message
