running that long, but it's really near the end of life, and there is no
telling what has been done since. Maybe if you have a spare drive you
can install a
So, your system is very, very old. I know because I have the same laptop
(or at least same generation). On top of that, you are running a very
old, outdated version of Ubuntu. Granted, I know it's LTS End-of-Life

While I don't believe the initial upgrade to Bionic caused this, a
series of power outages later (+4 in 2 days) and some possible data

In the future you want to read our wiki. It explains that and much more and
took myself and the rest of the team a long time to write it. Lol. ;)

This is not a PlayOnLinux bug, but rather a bug with Wine. Please go to
winehq.org and open a buig report with them, as this is not something

Closing, because there is no progress or updates.
NOTE: If you re-open, please state the reason, fix, and what is being

Come on, this is a huge deal, remember? I couldn't close this un-touched

until I closed the ticket, and then I get attacked. Let's get with the

Update your POL version to 4.2.4 from playonlinux.com and see if that
helps. This should not be an issue at all. Your debug output looks
weird, like it was cut up/edited. Do you have the raw output? If not, we
can close this ticket tomorrow, as this seems to be a lone issue, and
not a bug to POL it

Hi all
A workaround for fixing this problem (it worked for my Jaunty and
selinux 1.0.4) is:
1.- Boot from liveCD, mount root partition in hard disk and delete
/selinux and /etc/selinux (I got the idea from
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1063667.html)
2.- After that, I realized that

I had the same problem using UNetBootin to create the USB device. I

The problem appears to be with the installer it self. I opened up a
