Bioshock runs just fine, TES-Oblivion is incredibly slow. Winecfg's
sound test makes a crack, and the button locks up.

Would it be possible to just set Virtual to 2048x2048 again? xrandr says
the maximum is 4096x4096 and adding the virtual line on xorg.conf
doesn't work in any way, for some reason it's being ignored or
something.

In my case the external drive don't have permission.
Steps:
1 Reboot. Then I has a disk (500GB name)
2 I see /media/ directory and see only the disk '500GB' but WITHOUT permissions

This happened to me since the time when I used to run Debian Sarge on my
AMD K7 desktop, using WindowMaker as the window manager. Now I use a
fresh Feisty install on a new Intel Core 2 Duo laptop, and the problem

Cannot reproduce the same crash. I'm experimenting random freezes, most
of them at boot. The progress bar freezes and a 20 seconds later cd & hd
become inactive. Same problem if i'm installing and open a gnome menu or
play with other application. I don't know how to give more information

I think it's a problem with language selection. If a boot LiveCD in
Spanish and install with Ubiquity in Spanish too, the installer crashes
at copying files stage. However, with default US English language
everthing goes OK.
