I repeated the test with the official packages from Ubuntu and, after a
reboot, it doesn't work anymore.
The only solution to the problem is the gnome-screensaver package from
the PPA.

Something that always impress me about network-manager is the serious
bugs of the manual IP4vSettings Tab!
It is a very old problem, that goes through many versions of Ubuntu and,
frankly, nobody appears to care about it!

Sorry, but I can't help. I use my MSI PR200 as
I am very pleased with Karmic and, if this suspend problem is solved, it
will be even greater! :-)
