eclipse.
I tried the SWT_GTK3=0 workaround, but got the following crash:

FWIW, I see this behaviour under Fedora 18 also, so it's not specific to

particular of my setup. My python virtualenv was in ~/usr/local... and
this was being 'corrected' by the setup script to ~/local...

An addendum to my last comment: it seems the entire /var/lib directory
has been wiped out. I am going to run a fresh CD install. Not good news
for ubuntu, this is a pretty serious gotcha.

Hi all, I've been hit by this one, and for the time being cannot solve it.
Attempting to run apt-get install -f gives me:
