This is not just darktable.
I have files that work fine, while some other always crash. The only
constant is that all files were created on a Nikon camera.
Files that crash include some, but not all: Raw NEF; JPEGs created by
processing NEF files on Windows using Nikon software; JPEGs created
dir
Occurred during update process.

Hope this offers some insight... although I was unable to get any support info
for UBUNTU from Panasonic (no surprise) the fix offered for Windows 7 shows
that they still do not have a good handle on the issue, but it points toward
being a hardware bug linked to use of the Fn-F4 or F5 or F6 (M
I found this thread during a Google search. I have a windows 7 CF-F8
with same issue. I just finished talking to our (former) laptop support
guy who states this is an issue going back a few years with Toughbooks.
We worked with Panasonic & sent our standard image back to them to
troubleshoot. Af
Basically on my iPod Classic, once the song is on the ipod the extension is
removed
i.e. in the Rhythmbox library, when you look at the file info, the filename is
"x-.mp3" but when you look at the file info for the song once its
synced to the iPod its just like "x-xxx. "
