I installed the snapshot (-snap instead of -di), and it works beautifully for me--both flash and multiplexed sound. We can confirm that this works on the: T-1625 T-6828 Pending confirmation from the T-6838 crowd, and that -snap works for everyone else, I'll close the bug as 'resolved'. -- Sigm

I can confirm this issue on the Gateway T-6828, both under ALSA 1.0.18rc3 (Jaunty) and ALSA 1.0.19. I can also confirm that downgrading to ALSA 1.0.16 and kernel 2.6.24-22-generic *worked in the past*--I can't say now, as I haven't tried with Jaunty. Output of alsa-info.sh is here: http://www.alsa
