iwlwifi was able to connect to it, so I think the bug is between iwlwifi
on client side, and rtl8192cu on the hostapd side. (Bus 001 Device 004:

remove the indicator-application package. That will at least allow the
tray icon to appear, but if anything else uses that package, you will
lose that as well. For example, the volume indicator.

I will add my comments, Charles, you say this is by design, but it is a
design flaw. The battery gets down to about 5 minutes remaining, and
stops discharging. That means, it will ALWAYS show 5 minutes remaining
in the panel, but it is really only discharging from the second battery
at that point

Nevermind, I just had it happen again. This is really frustrating, but

prerelease updates on my system, and it pulled in a new version of
kernel, lightdm, and xorg. I have not had the issue happen since then,
so I am going to assume that this bug was fixed upstream. If it happens

This is still a pretty giant problem for me. If you select a new
message entry in the indicator applet, the launcher entry just wiggles,
demanding attention instead of foregrounding the window. Pidgin isn't
the only app to do this, Thunderbird does as well. It all used to work
in 12.04 as well,

I did. I am actually using quassel-client-qt4. It is stuff like this
that is making me slowly move away from ubuntu variants. Unity is nice,
but it breaks too many other things by trying to be too different.

Hmm.. I can't reproduce the error now. I killed ~/.pulse because I'm
sure running it via sudo killed some stuff in there, and now I only get
small hiccups when listening to FLAC over wifi, or watching some hi def
movies over wifi, and sometimes it chokes so bad that the audio cuts
