Thanks Martin.
I confirmed that that single change in my .config restores proper
operation.
No it shouldn't affect power usage, but it's not used in BFS (which
isn't going to be mainline, I know), so I'm curious why suspend (and
NetworkManager) require it? it seems to be completely unnecessary f

This is kind of a long chain, but I think this is where it ends.
I custom compile my kernel for battery savings, as I spend lots of time flying.

FYI: to test, you need to have a network that supports jumbo frames,
then snip the 2 wires on your patch cable (so 1gbps can't be
negotiated), or set the VM to only negotiate 100mbps in the VM
definition, but leave NetworkManager's automatic MTU detection enabled.

Public bug reported:
I have a network which supports jumbo frames end-to-end internally.
This weekend, after rebooting my laptop, it came up only negotiating
100mbps, but networkManager still set the MTU to 9000, which doesn't
work (can't do jumbo frames on anything except 1gbps, by spec). NM

This project does support Ubuntu. There is a hidden "--oem oem1" build

Hi, I've filed a bug internally on the PBIS Open bugzilla, to change the
"common-session" entry from "sufficient" to "optional" (which is the
same as [success=ok default=ignore] and looks cleaner).
Thanks for picking this up for us!

I'm working on a patch to submit to BeyondTrust so that the current PBIS
Open sources will build following the submission rules of Ubuntu.
However, I can't get added to the "Likewise Open" group here, so we may
be creating a new "pbis-open" package that would upgrade and remove
"likewise-open".

Additionally, I tried to script an "if [ `lspci |grep -c Intel` -gt 0 ];
then ..." to change the links between fgrlx and mesa, based on what I
had chosen in the bios at boot time, but don't see a difference between
the filesets that I can affect...

This bug still affects oneiric. Tested on an Lenovo T500. Is
particularly difficult for customers who have dual GPUs in their laptop,
and want to switch between them (for power or power-savings), but also
use the fglrx driver (not supporting switcheroo, only cold switch) for
games/other 3D.

fresh install fixed this. Having to wipe out a whole system and

would like to know the root cause though. My full current config posted

Fresh install seems to have solved this. I have to fix fglrx to verify
that the ATI driver doesn't have issues on my system, but this appears
to be an upgrade. My rough config posted here:
