It should just take a rebuild of the existing 1.2.2-1ubuntu1 package to
pick up the new xulrunner version's dependency. Is there a way to force
a new build in the Ubuntu autobuilders?

We'd like to have a stable MongoDB version in official releases of
Debian and Ubuntu. 1.3.x is our unstable/development branch, and IMO
it was sort of a mistake that that's what got into Debian sid.
Maybe this will help: as of a couple days ago, there is a mongodb-1.2

Note: the debian packaging files in the Debian package (which are
substantially equivalent to those in upstream's git repository) are
sufficient for building the package on Lucid snapshots. If this bug
blocks #520610, could this bug be closed?

(They're essentially the same as the files in mongodb's upstream github
master, too.)

the Debian developer to downgrade to our latest stable, 1.2.2;
ultimately, we'd like the 1.2.2 release in Lucid.) AFAIK, there are no
