I have long ago given up waiting for this bug to be fixed and am again
using Microsoft Excel. We may not like them, but at least Microsoft
listen to problems and fix them. The 'open' community is an uncaring or
ineffective community in my experience.

What's the point in reporting if 5 months later nothing has been done about it?
The spreadsheet and its functionality are important to me and so I have long
ago returned to Bill Gates' offering. Over priced, over bloated and
dictatorial his offering may be, but at least it works.

=CONCATENATE(">", TODAY())
in the search criteria cells. This worked fine in OO 3.1 (and still does
