Hello all, just some info to add, I too have a 13" Airbook 6.2 i5
Basically I can use Ubuntu 13.04 and most things work, like networking,
mouse pad with 3 fingers, 3D affects etc.
Things that do not work: Wifi, Sound, SMP

I tried using apport as suggested above. It ends with a dialog box
saying "The problem cannot be reported: The program crashed on an
assertion failure, but the message could not be retrieved. Apport does
not support reporting these crashes."
It did create a .crash file though which I attached.

Installed QT for HPLIP environment (Pyhton-qt3, not 4)
With hp-toolbox I removed the HP1000 installed printer.
With Cups I added the hp printer using hplip, but instead of using the foo2zjs

Excelent. Removing /.config/menus/applications.menu restored the menu.
However, I am still left with the odd 333.4MB of disk space. Which does
not explain how this happened.
