I'm still on 12.04 but now I'm running the Raring kernel - the latest 3.8.0. I've also update the ALSA drivers with the latest build from the information above. I'm attaching the output of dmesg. I can still see totem failing with: totem-plugin-vi[2702]: segfault at 8 ip 7ff5ba764417 sp
