series of steps i follow to connect to wifi
1. switch on the laptop and boot to ubuntu os, wifi doesn't show any networks

As some other users above, I also have a Y560 Lenovo and confirm this behavior.
1. Suspend when on AC.
2. Attempts to resume on battery -- fail with panic as reported above. Sadly,
doesn't allow reboot.
Did anyone find a workaround?
