Binary package hint: tasks
When installing on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid application is not added to
standard XDG or GNOME menu.
Item not visible under Office menu in GNOME or Openbox.
Is there a reason why this is in: /usr/share/applications/tasks.desktop
This is not a GNOME app

Yes, I have a Dimension 9200. Running Intrepid w/ all updates & have the
latest BIOS Version: 2.5.3. I can shutdown, but not restart.
