Part way through the upgrade process, from a running 11.04 environment
booted off usb, there was a message about failed to install grub.efi.
The system will not boot - I forget the exact wording. I hit 'Continue'
and the next thing to happen was
I have just discovered that 'mount.nfs' defaults to applying the option
'vers=4'. This was causing me problems with nfs3 mounts via autofs. I
presume that this behaviour is a change between 10.04 and 10.10, since I
never encountered this difficulty in Lucid.

This issue happened for me throughout yesterday. Every time I locked the
screen then came back to unlock it, it would unlock the first time, show
me my desktop/applications then immediately lock again and prompt for
the password again.
After rebooting this morning, it doesn't appear to be happenin
If I browse 'Network' with the file manager on my Eee PC (running
Xandros, also Debian-based?) all machines on my local network hosting
NFS shares are shown, and I can navigate to any of those shares. I have
not created any mounts on the Eee PC, so it is truly capable of browsing
for shares.
