The yubikey-personalization-gui package should depend on the yubikey-
personalization package, but doesn't.

I seem to have left the "Unity desktop (GUI method):" section blank. I
had created that section before realizing that the Unity directions were
identical to the Cinnamon directions and had failed to remove it. My

Hi folks, I'm attempting to upgrade my fully-up-to-date 9.10 Karmic
installation to 10.4 Lucid beta1 using the GUI update-manager.
Unfortunately, the upgrade has hit a snag when attempting to install the
memtest86+ package.

In response to your above comment, I am experiencing the same problem as
Åskar with the Hardy release candidate.
I did follow your directions ("sudo rm /etc/usplash.conf && sudo
aptitude reinstall usplash"), which resulted in my /etc/usplash.conf
changing to the following:

Update: This issue does not appear to be limited to
Thunderbird/Enigmail, but seems to be related to gnupg in some general
way. I cannot sign or encrypt messages using Seahorse and gedit.
As a temporary fix, I'm going to restore my Feisty installation from
backups and wait until the stable release
