While installing Lubuntu precise-desktop-powerpc.iso 20120309 on an eMac G4 800
MHz, Nvidia graphics, I received an error during the install process:
Failed to execute child process "ubiquity" (No such file or directory)
Steps I took:
1) Boot from desktop .iso, that seemed t
LightDM login still black, by if you select High Contrast, it will "fix"
the problem. (So would should now be High Contrast is normal contrast.
The fix is not permanent between reboots though.)
Might be as simple as looking at the High Contrast toggle/setting.

Well it may not be a bug, but I do have a bug with Lubuntu 12.04 PPC on
G3 and G4 computers. The LightDM login screen is black, with white text,

Not sure what I did to start the crash. I was in Chromium then navigate
to Accessories window, then the crash. Been having flaky problems with
the track pad, cursor skipping around, selecting all text and deleting
