Ubuntu software center crashed and stop working, I had to force stop it with
the terminal using: ps -e to bring the list up then use: sudo kill -9
command to kill it then I have to use : sudo apt-get --purge remove
nautilus-dropbox;
sudo apt-get --purge autoremove;
rm -
Hi Dan,
I had the same problem but got it sorted by doing this: install esound in
synaptic then move your sound file you want Thunderbird to play in to your home
folder (not in any folder just direct in to home folder) then start Thunderbird
and go to preferences and browse for your sound file

I had the same problem, you need to change your language to "not Us
English"
At the login screen you will get the drop down box with the language options,
click there and click other,
In my case it was Australian English... all done ! Log in and all work

Hi Daniel,
No it's all fixed... after the next kernel update it worked well and has
done that all the time.
