If I open an XLS email attachment, no Calc menu. If I open Calc first
and then the attachment, I get a menu. The same is true of a TXT file if
I choose "Open with Calc" without first opening Calc or opening
I drilled down to the folder to check permissions. Before removing the
file, I decided to check for other solutions. I found my solution
matched the suggestion. This workaround fixed this update, for now.

I reread the comments and adjusted my mouse. Adding about 1/10 on the
slider for Acceleration (I usually want no acceleration) makes the
Launcher show more reliably. I'm sorry I didn't think of this sooner
after reading the notes and adding my report.

E-calendar-factory will peruse my calendar data periodically, possibly
to determine if I have to be reminded of something. However, I keep a
very large amount of historical data in my calendar. Because of this, e

BTW, I'm using Gnome desktop. I have not found Unity worth the effort it

Chrome is on the Google website as a 64-bit ".deb" available for downloading:
http://www.google.com/chrome/ (from a browser on Linux baecause it detects what
OS you have.) However, Ubuntu installs a flavor of Chrome called chromium. I
believe it has also been in 10.04 and 10.10, but my mem
"chromium" is getting better with embedded Flash and java, but it isn't
perfect yet. I'm just used to installing Chrome instead.
I'm getting odd lockups when running chromium, though I usually have
other things running, too. I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause to
start a new bug report. I lo
Thanks for the workaround to help me install google-chrome-
stable_current_amd64.deb into today's Natty. libcurl3 was already
installed for me, but I've been adding bits and pieces all evening.
