I found that installing subtitlecomposer changes the mime database so
that the type of two png files from the default Ambiance theme becomes
"text/x-tmplayer" instead of "image/png", thus gtk-window-decorator
unable to load the theme.
** Package changed: light-themes (Ubuntu) => subtitlecomposer (
Perhaps this helps to find out what happened:
Yesterday after installing subtitlecomposer package, two png became
unrecognizable: close_focused_normal.png and closed.png. After removing it, the
two files became recognizable again.

Public bug reported:
After installing adobe-flashplugin on my 64-bit system (11.10) I removed all
the packages for i386 architecture. Then I purged them. After restarting the
machine, the default Ubuntu session stopped working. I found that when I purged
package libglib2.0-0:i386, dpkg deleted
I disabled the confirmation dialogues, because I know what I am doing.
However sometimes I have to restart the machine, so I would like to see
it in the system menu. Is there a possibility to have a dconf option
whether to include it in the menu or not (defaulting the later one).

I tried with linux-image-2.6.27-02062719-generic_2.6.27-02062719 from

kernel 2.6.28-8.26-generic and the disks are mounted fast, without
problems.
