I tried the proposed update of desktop-switcher from the proposed repositories
(Ubuntu Netbook Remix jaunty) and it didn't work, in fact it made it worse. My
problem before this was that on reboot the top panel would not be there and I
would have to use the desktop-switcher to go to the normal

Are we sure this is a duplicate? the other bug this is attached to is
only for SLOW internet access with ipv6 enabled. I cannot resolve at
all in programs like pidgin unless I point right to the IP. This al
no, I'm using Open DNS (208.67.222.222/220.220) on my jaunty box and I
get NO resolving, unless I point my browser or pidgin to the IP address
directly. Also disabling ipv6 in firefox works. This problem is new
and I have been using jaunty for a while now. Also my netbook with UNR
(jaunty) works
Adric, try reinstalling the scim package, if you ran into the problem
the same way I did this could be your issue. I did that and it worked!

Adric, I have had a slimier issue. I get the mass amount of scim
segfaults (although for me its like 20) I wanted to try GNOME so I
installed it along side KDE and found I didin't like it so I manually
uninstalled gnome to get back to a pure KDE install. For me the problem
is that programs load
