I can confirm this behaviour in Gutsy (upgraded from Feisty), using gxine.
Changing device used for playback, as mentioned above doesn't change anything
for me. Still getting "No input plugin was found. Maybe the file does not exist
or cannot be accessed, or there is an error in the URL.", and th
Reproduced in Ubuntu Feisty i686. I also downgraded and saw the plugin
appear again and playback is restored.
