Just want to add that I too have experienced this when upgrading for 9.04 and as a result have had to switch to gtkpod and ifuse. But I still have problems (slow, directory syncing doesn't work well) so I would love to see whatever needs it get support for these non-physical fuse/sshfs/etc filesys

I experienced this same issue but was able to fix it in my case. If you "delete" everything on the ipod (Move to Trash), it will put it in the .Trash/files folder on the device, but not actually delete them until you empty your trash. This means the space is still being used. Couple that with Rh

Luis, thanks so much for your deb file, but when I try to apt-get anything it replaces it with the other firefox deb. Ghostvirus, I'd love to see this ticket fixed and closed. Obviously there are enough people who want this feature, should I add a linking ticket to Mozilla's bug tracking system?
