@Jim Chatman: that's not exactly the same situation as me. I can't use
the horizontal scroll in any situation whatsover. Anyways, thanks for
bringing that up. Let's hope some more experinced user, reads this post
and maybe comes up with a solution.
Cheers

Even though I have the "Enable horizontal scrolling" settings enabled on

I have no problem with the 2-finger vertical scroll.
I am running Ubuntu 11.10 on a Asus N82JV.

Hi guys,
I'm using nut 2.4.3 in ubuntu 10.4 and I got the same problem. "Driver not
connected". Some times I got "Data stale" also.
Have you experienced that on these versions too? Have some of you solved the
issue?
Best regards,
Nuno

I noticed that too. I use webdav a lot for university, and it's extremely slow.
Windows and MacOSX are pretty fast though ;-)

What I usually do is find ~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/covers and set its permissions to

I realize it probably still downloads the covers, just doesnt save them, but
I'm rarely missing a "folder.jpg", so it only does that in extreme situations.

I have a similar problem. Ever since I started using compiz, totem gets the

inverted (3:4 instead of 4:3).
Using up-to-date gutsy, nvidia drivers, and compiz.

I'm still having this problem with gutsy too.
It got worse now, because a logout/login would fix it; unfortunately there's
another bug which prevents a proper login after a logout, so only a restart
fixes it for me now.

Well, I didn't say it crashed, it just skips the beginning of the tracks (1 or
2 seconds) when the crossfader is turned off. And yes, it still happens.
Still using feisty (amd64) and amarok 1.4.7-0ubuntu1~feisty1 (backports).

** Description changed:
Binary package hint: amarok
Amarok, when playing m4a audio files, cuts the first few seconds (or
milliseconds) of the tracks, with the crossfader turned off. If I turn
the crossfader on "manual track change only", it no longer cuts the
beginning of the songs.

I second that. I upgraded to feisty, and the partitions disappeared from
the desktop and places menu, although /etc/fstab remains unchanged and
the partitions are mounted correctly in /media. "sudo /etc/init.d/dbus
