[Bug 1504869] [NEW] installer crashes

Public bug reported: Crashes throughout installation. Restart and it will make it further into the install before it crashes again. Says may be caused by a bad CD/DVD drive..tried external drive also. Same thing happens. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: ubiquity 2.18.
