Disabling Thunderbolt Security in the BIOS did not help.
My BIOS has no Kernel DMA protection.
Any other ideas?

I have the same issue with a i-tec displaylink docking station. My OS is
the ubuntu based linux mint 19.2 with kernel version 5.3.0-46-generic.
