It is working now! Using kernel 5.4.0-42-generic and adding the
"i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" kernel parameters to grub made the touchpad
work.
(I also tried the solution proposed by Ferenc in Bug #1861610. It

appear in /proc/bus/input/devices

thats weird, after trying multiple times, the update manager failed
again with an error. But then I found out that it had already upgraded
my package sources to the Eoan Ermine versions, and I was able to simply

I have this issue also: Wifi drops randomly but I think it happens only when
I'm plugged off from the charging cable?
When I plug it back in the wifi works again.
I did debug the problem with ping and it seems that when I'm on battery
I do not receive some packets or I receive some with delay but
I can reproduce this problem on Ubuntu 13.10, Unity 7.1.2:
- Add new shortcut by pressing [+], name: test, command: gedit
- Assing keys to Alt+Ctrl+1 -> Try it -> Does not work
-> Log out -> Log in -> Works.
Same with editing the 'test'

I have two keyboard layouts enabled on my PC, "English (USA)" and
"Russian", they are switched by pressing Alt+Shift (the default).
If automatic login is enabled and I get logged in when the system
starts, without entering my password on the login screen, everything

I just tested itout and it works fine on x86_64 (second machine) - the
keyboard class does not seem to be a problem - the keys on the headset
are actually volume control, so binding as a keyboard is fine.

I can confirm this too on a updated natty. Happens when using hot
corners and when using the maximize button, but seems only to affect
"konsole" - other programs like firefox work fine
