I could install the XEmacs package by removing the ocaml-mode package,
then the re-install of ocaml-mode just triggers the aforementioned error,
which concerns just one .el file of the package (the others, like automatic
indentation and syntax highlighting, compile correctly and should work fine).
More precisely, it seems that there is an error during the loading of
camldebug.el
from the O'Caml language packages. Here is a copy of the error message during
the configuration of XEmacs :
