Still exisiting problem. Yesterday I used the laptop for over 3 hours on battery, doing various tasks including using transmission & firefox, and laptop did not freeze at all. Today laptop froze within 2 minutes of logging in. Had got as far as loading transmission, and Firefox & was just changi

Also affects me - I have a 1.8ghz model & a 2ghz model, each with 3gb ram. Has taken me some time to realise the freezes were on battery power.
