I have also got this bug, but from Ubuntu 16.04.02 LTS (32-bit), (with
MATE desktop add-on)
It would be good if this got some attention, thanks.

I had a similar problem with Linux Mint 16 and Ubuntu 13.10 amd64.
Adding "nomodeset" to the 13.10 installer boot options (after the --, or
via the F6 add options method) fixed that install. Haven't tried this
with Mint.
13.04 booted without any changes required.

Small update:
I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 on another computer and checked the
certificates. The default certificate works fine (the one with md5, the
original one from kubuntu) and I am able to connect easily to the WPA.
So maybe this is an issue with the network managers running under
kubuntu.
Public bug reported:
Release : Kubuntu 11.04
Version of package: unknown package
What I expected: Connect to WPA wireless
What happened: Found problem with Thawte_Premium_Server_CA.pem
I am posting here even though this is Kubuntu 11.04 because this may be
a problem which exists in Ubuntu 11.04 a
Yeah same problem on 10.04. And same solution - apt-get -b source...
Versions:
ii asterisk 1:1.6.2.5-0ubuntu1.3
Open Source Private Branch Exchange (PBX)
ii asterisk-mysql1.6.2.0-1
I can confirm the same problem and that both solutions: 1. rmmod and
modprobe then restart network and 2. modprobe.d, work.
