immediately, soon keeps the disk so busy that all the CPU goes to "wait CPU"
and the system basically dies; after a while, the filesystem is made read-only

I have the same problem with an MP3 player, which has a "RockChip
USBDISK User: 8,2 GB File system" and adds also a "RockChip USBDISK
SD" to the "Computer" screen of Nautilus (memory can be expanded with a
microSD, and this "card reader" is detected, I suppose).
