Thanks for the suggestion. I did a complete removal of gnuradio-dev using synaptic package manager, and then tried doing an upgrade. Unfortunately I got the same result. I then did a complete removal of gnuradio, and all installed libgnuradio packages (they were 3.7.11-10, if that is any use). I t
